Welcome to the Carroll Police Department's home on the web.
As the Summer season begins I would like to take a moment to remind folks of a few things. As we get into this busier season I would like to remind folks to take some care driving on our roadways. We find that, statistically, with the increase in tourist traffic through the area our accident numbers generally increase this time of year. Please take your time while headed wherever you may be going and be alert. We also find that as the snow levels decrease our native animals become more active. Please be carefull and watch for moose and deer.
As many of you know we suffered a huge influx of burglaries during the beginning part of this year. We have, through many hours of work, and cooperation with other departments, developed a suspect in this case and anticipate charges being brought forward on them in the near future. We appreciate all of the help from the public.
As per request this is a link to a letter submitted to the Selectboard by the Chief of Police in response to some citizen complaints.
